A Fine Balance 2007 is an event driven by input from people and groups representing the communities affected by new privacy technologies. Its outcomes will be determined by the input from everyone involved. It relies upon the open, clear and direct sharing of views, opinions and evidence from everyone involved.

The organisers behind this year’s event have set up the Fine Balance Weblog – a virtual noticeboard where anyone interested in privacy, and PETS in particular, can share their ideas and opinions with those running the event. Anyone is welcome to offer relevant background information, links to documents, or suggestions for the themes A Fine Balance 2007 should cover.

Following the event, the weblog will be available as a feedback and update mechanism. Outcomes of the event will be posted on the ‘blog’, participants will be invited to feedback on the relevance of the event and respond to the outputs.
